Office is clean, all tools are taken out of sterile bags, & friendly staff. Hygienist is gentle handed and thorough. Will continue to go to Dr. Lavin.

Never go to this place! This woman ruined my teeth! She drilled into a perfectly good tooth and exposed my nerve causing extreme pain and discomfort. After her mistake, I only had 2 options which was to either do a root canal or extract the tooth. I lost over 4 teeth from this terrible person. I was diagnosed with Trigeminal neuralgia after all the horrible procedures she did with my teeth and she overall ruined my nervous system with her awful practices. Also, never trust this woman to do braces on your children! We had to go redo them at a different place from how horrible she did. Ultimately, the pain was unbearable and I do not want anyone to go through the pain I was in. As a law it is required to change a bridge within 7 to 10 years, however she never told me about this and I had that bridge for over 15 years! If she was to change this, I would have still had most of my teeth, but due to her incompetence she never changed that bridge and this started my downfall with my teeth. Please do yourself a favor and never go to this place!

I had put off going to the dentist for as long as possible, but finally I had no other choice. I am terrified of the sound the drill makes. I called to find out if this office, a friend had referred me to would even take my insurance, and the girl that answered the phone (Rissa) must have sensed my nervousness and she began telling me how I would feel more at ease once I had come into the office & inquired about what specifically I was worried about. I finally just told her about the horrid experience I had had years ago and swore I would never go to a dentist again unless absolutely necessary. I’m sure Risa has heard a hundred stories just like mine, but she was actually listening to me, asking questions, and being empathetic to my overall situation. Then she began telling me how she can understand my hesitation and concern and she wanted to help make me feel more at ease before coming in and wanted to explain the way they did things at their office. Her taking the time to have that conversation with me, actually really helped ease my mind and gave me a heads up of wat I would be walking into. I’m surprised to say it but pretty much what she said would happen was true. Everyone was nice & Dr. Lavin took the time to explain to me what was going on with my teeth and the best course of action for me. Would you believe that when I was leaving her office, I actually scheduled an appointment for a cleaning….. I sorta felt excited to be getting them cleaned.

Had the worst toothache of my life and Dr. Lavin was able to get me in immediately and took care of my problem. Her staff went above and beyond, and then called to check on me the next day. Totally felt like I was part of the family to them. Will continue to tell anyone looking for a new dentist about you Dr. Lavin……You’re the best!
