First, I am going to speak as someone who occasionally donate to different thrift stores and resale shops. For the purposes of donations, Savers is not my first choice. They are upfront about their business model which I appreciate. Essentially they collect items and goods and then pay the charitable organization to buy those goods from them. So the charitable organizations do benefit but it is primarily a for-profit retail establishment. That being said, they do provide some benefits to the community. And if my understanding of how this establishment works is incorrect feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to change this review.nnAs a shopper this is one of my favorite thrift stores to shop at. It is large, organized, generally clean, and spacious. There is generally enough space to keep 6 feet of distance between yourself and others. Their prices are generally pretty good. However as with any store of this nature sometimes the prices are a little off. Every Monday, they have 50% off day. Remember what I said though about them being a for-profit retail establishment, don't overpay for items by justifying to yourself that the money is going to a good cause. The money has gone to the cause once the donation is made.

I was shopping here January 2021 and fitting rooms are closed and unavailable. Normally I try on all clothing before I buy it especially pants. Store associate will tell you, you can exchange what doesn't fit. Be aware this isn't a slip of paper that shows store credit. You literally need to bring the items you want to exchange and find the new items to exchange within the time period listed on the receipt (2 weeks). There's always been no refunds but be careful with the exchange policy. If you buy 10 pants to try on at home, let's say $25, and none fit, you will need to exchange them for $25 in merchandise you find in the store within 14 days. I managed to always avoid this by trying everything on, but until fitting rooms are open it's an issue for me. Also, I was disappointed in how many sweaters on the racks had holes, around 5, so shop carefully. Something that rips apart while you wear it isn't a deal no matter the price. On a positive note, I did get some excellent deals here. It took more work to buy, drive home, try on, drive back to exchange, shop to exchange, drive home, and try on again. After 2 trips, I have 1 shirt that still needs to go back! Honestly, I might be donating it back there. After all, time is money, too.

drive up drop off fast and efficient. thorough covid protocols, staff masked and gloved, very courteous and appreciative. one or two cars ahead of me the three times I donated but I was in and out in minutes each time. plenty of hours available for drop off, check website. great spring cleaning resource.
