We wanted to have a custom cake for my folks 50th anniversary. We brought a pic of their wedding cake and the sales person instilled all the confidence in the world that this could be done. The end result was nothing near the photos we discussed. It was a lovely cake, but not the replica of their wedding cake. We were never consulted about this. When we pointed this out at pick-up, they said it was unrealistic based on the picture to get a replica. Great - but that is not what was communicated. We also paid top dollar for the custom cake, not a generic one. They offered to refund some of the cost of decorations and we said sure. $16 in store credit. (edit - they later refunded the custom decoration part, in store credit). The cake was lovely and tasted fresh. It was NOT, however, what we were promised.

I have ordered many cakes for special events. They are always beautiful. There are always many compliments from my guests. They are accommodating for my inevitable last minute orders-as in I need this tomorrow, can you do it? Not once have they said no. The staff is always friendly, regardless of the reason for my visit.

Yes! Orland Bakery. Are you looking for something delicious. Well then, Orland Bakery is the place for you. With a wide variety of delicious deliciousness, you're sure to find something, well . . . Delicious. Okay, I'll stop saying delicious. Are you in the mood for carrot cake? Orland Bakery carrot cake is moist and delicious. Oops, said it again. Now, if you've seen that photo on the website, the shot inside the bakery where the place looks like a ballroom dancefloor surrounded by pastries, well, it doesn't seem that big in person. However, if we weren't having a pandemic, people would be dancing their way up to the counter in search of their favorites. Cookies and cakes and pies, oh my! Okay, I'm hungry now. Enough of this review. I'm off to Orland Bakery.

Very good but bit pricey on several items. Been coming here since 1970s but prices have seemed to creep up. I used to pay quite a bit less for the bag if 12 large cookies and didn't realize they signifincatally increased to $15 now. They are good but surely won't be buying them again. I could get allot other good cookies many for much less..... I didn't realize until I checked out their new priceud83dude31
