Beautiful space... several different trail options. It's never really crowded. The only thing is there's no restroom facilities.
A one of a kind in the NW Suburbs, CRHW offers unpaved trails with gorgeous scenery -- from the fields of rare Illinois Prairie to the Illinois Woodlands housing enormous Oaks and Hickories. This place may have a small crowd on mornings and good days, but most of the time there are little people: giving you the best opportunity to connect with Illinois' beauty. I used to frequent the Poplar Creek 8.9 mi paved trail, now I only go here for walks.
Nice park. Quite lovely and very good for a walk. Has combination of paved and I paved trails. Park has frequent visitors. There is good spacing for social distancing but you won’t feel alone walking here. Great for family walks. Good parking nearby and I think they have some picnic areas near the parking spots.
