I went to middle school here in the late 80's. The kids were awful, the teachers were very good and there was a surprising amount of extracurricular activities centred around academics. The problem is it is just a few blocks from the projects, so you get tons of kids with no training or upbringing to terrorise teachers and students alike. The area hasn't changed much, so I don't see the school environment having changed much. Luckily I was only there for a semester.
Love my school an teachers was nice. But the kids was so Evil to Me.
