I'm not sure why so many people give this park a bad review because it's private. It says so on the main page of their website and also on google maps. It's a great place in the city to let my dog run off leash and play with other dogs. Also, you do not have to live in a certain building like some reviews claim. Anyone can join by paying the $55 for an entire year.
This is a great idea for downtown living. We bring the dog everyday who loves interactions with all the other dogs. I love that water is available and the pool for the dog. For the most part everyone picks up after their pets which keeps the space clean. My only improvement would be for them to rinse down the turf to help the dog urine smell more. Or install turf that helps with it. Other than that it's a great secure space.
This isn't even actually a dog park, they ask you to keep your dogs off the grass. There is a little tiny fenced-in area, but only if you are a resident of the apartments next to it can you get in. I really wish somebody would have said this on their posting before I took the time to drive all the way over there.nn(Edit: I posted this before they changed the name)
