Athletico Physical Therapy - Edwardsville

I went to Athletico for 6 months of PT for a torn ACL - during my time all staff and therapists were super helpful, accommodating, and friendly. The front desk staff is very flexible and kind, and will help reschedule any appointments if necessary. The physical therapists are very attentive, supportive, and truly listen to you (whether it be about your worries, feelings, or pain). Everyone here wants to see you succeed and genuinely wants to help you feel better. I would definitely recommend this Athletico location!

What an incredible team of professional, courteous and all around good folks! Sean Campbell was the physical therapist who met and worked with me to develop a care plan for recovering from shoulder replacement surgery. Before anything started, he wanted to know what my goals were. This was figured into the therapy.nnThe knowledge and understanding of the human body by this team is impressive. Though the challenge was to work through some minor discomfort; there was never a time that I was pushed to a point of hurting. If it felt too painful, they respected my opinion and adjusted the exercise.nnOnce things were established and underway, Sean assigned Tiffani and sometimes Drew to work with me. Tiffani is wonderful! She's focused, patient and thoughtful even when working with multiple clients. She came up with some additional exercises to change things up and work different muscles or extend movements.nnDrew had many job duties, but still made time when I was there to check in and see how I was doing, even if he wasn't assigned to me that day. He was always ready to get anything anybody needed or to assist.nnSean, who also manages this location, always stayed in tune with his clients while we're there. He'd voice a correction or encouragement. There was never any feeling of discontent or disrespect amongst the staff.nnI am so glad this facility was available to me when I really needed it. And right in my own town. I've been to therapy for another issue before; but the caliber of care at Athletico, Edwardsville is beyond comparison.nnLooking back at where I started in physical therapy, and even pre-surgery, I'm amazed at how much strength and range of motion I have now! I am grateful to this team for helping me reach and surpass what I thought could happen with my shoulder.

I had a great experience at Athletico with Sean Campbell (MPT), Drew, and Annie. It was a good atmosphere to rehab in and I felt I increased my knowledge base about health and physiology, which is important to me. While I hope to not see this crew regularly, I would highly recommend them for any treatment you’re seeking!

I was very thankful finding Athletico and Sean! I was concerned about going because of covid but they're keeping appointments spread out and I watched them clean equipment after use. My back is feeling better and I have a folder full of exercises I work on at home. Sean helped ease my fears. I kept wondering what exercises I was doing that could be aggravating my back. I'll definitely head right back there if I have issues in the future.

I have been going to Physical Therapy for a couple months and just finished up my treatment. I was referred to Athletico by numerous individuals who had been treated by Sean. I have been doing CrossFit for over 8 yrs. and I have been sore after a workout but this was a pain I have never experienced. It started in my right side in the hip area and then moved over to the left side. I’m sure I wasn’t catching the warning signs and kept working out 6 days a week. My body finally said it’s not soreness it’s a debilitating hurt. I could barely walk without pain and stepping up or down was even worse. I was very happy to find out that Sean could work through my symptoms and give me stretching exercises that started me down the road to recovery. Sean not only explained everything he was having me do but what I could expect as time elapsed. His patience, his knowledge, his concern and most of all his caring attitude made feel like I was in the best place to recover. He told me up front it’s a slow process and I know it’s because I waited to long to come see him. My back side was inflamed and other parts of the body were compensating for how bad it was. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to visit a Professional like Sean and his team pick up the phone and call for a appointment You will not regret it.
