First my girlfriend and I booked our stay for a different date then our actual. Unfortunately a snow storm messed our first stay up so we had to reschedule. The owners understood and helped us reschedule with ease! Our actual date we arrived on 3/2/21. We were a little lost finding the place but a easy phone call and we were guided in! The owner greeted us and gave us the details to get into the cabin after checking in. The cabin was perfect! The size was great the bed was amazing and the tub in the room was the best! We enjoyed a wine tasting of many different wines. We recommend the 12 paws. There’s a little lake with a walking trail. If you can make it on a clear night I recommend sitting outside and gazing at the stars. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I absolutely love this place. The owners are very nice and took time out of their busy schedule to talk to us about the wine making process. If you like sweet apple wine you have got to try Twelve Paws! So far I've only ever been to Hidden Lake during the colder months of the year, but I think we will be coming back when it gets warmer for some outside live music. I love this place!

Very friendly staff. Wonderful place to eat! The view is absolutely beautiful as well! And they have dogs that are very sweet!

Food, good. Wine, good. Staff, good. Cabins, poor. Our door didn't lock, no tv & room had an odor. Also, black mold on ceiling in the bathroom. We complained about the tv & door & were given a free bottle of wine. Didn't see the black mold on the bathroom ceiling until the next morning, while taking my shower. I see other reviews on Facebook. Lots of similar complaints for months. The cabins much definitely in need of tlc.

Really enjoyed Hidden Lake Winery. People were awesome, wine was good (little surprised by that) and mostly enjoyed the food...pizza was great. Seating and views around the lake were really nice. Booked two nights in the cabins, but sadly had to bug out a day early for a family emergency. Cabin was clean, maybe a little musty, but bed was super comfortable, jet tub was relaxing, and I was even able to catch a little baseball on satellite...I can only detach so much. Pretty much what you'd expect from a cabin and then some.nnDelivery of fresh towels, snacks and beverages in the morning was a nice touch. Good attention to detail. Easy drive from metro Saint Louis, but pay attention, it IS hidden, hence the name I suppose. Watch the signs closely or you may miss it. Totally worth the time and effort, and expect I'll be there again in the not too distant future. I had a great time and would recommend that you give them a shot, whether it's dinner and wine alone, or with a stay in the cabins.
