Sunset Motel is now under new ownership. My son and his dad both have rooms there and they are very nice clean rooms. The new owners are great folks and they are really making the place nice. They are quick to fix any issues. The rooms are nice size and the prices cannot be beat. It’s quiet has free WiFi and direct tv. So if you’re wanting a weekend place to stay while visiting the lake or any of the annual events Carlyle offers or you’re wanting a longer stay, Sunset Motel can’t be beat. They have made so many upgrades in just a month I give them five stars. If this changes I will update my review.
