Not only did I place an application for a dog with this group, I entered a message on Facebook, sent a message through petfinder and called and left a message for this shelter to please call me. I got a message from petfinders that Pickens animal rescue would be in contact with me in a few days. I did not want to annoy them so I was going to wait till tomorrow 3/12 to call and inquire about the dog. I looked on petfinders and the dog was not listed. This group could not extend the courtesy of a phone call or an email to notify me that the dog had been adopted. What a way to run your organization. Thanks for nothing.
My beautiful puppy was so well socialized and all of her shots were complete by the time I adopted her!!!! I had prompt thorough and friendly communication with this organization! They even sent me videos of my puppy!!!
I reached out via email and left voicemails numerous times after submitting my adoption application and never got a response from anyone. Very sad to see the dog we were interested in was adopted by someone else even though we applied fairly soon after the adoption was listed.
So thankful for this rescue. They help so many animals find their forever homes. We are so in love with Lex (formerly Cleveland), he has such an amazing personality and is super friendly.nPickens made special arrangements to get him to us in CT as soon as possible.nI would absolutely recommend adopting from them.nThanks again for all that you do!
The BEST adoption agency. The process was so seamless, and we talked on the phone multiple times about the dogs and they gave such detailed responses. They truly care about their animals and pets. I found my furever best friend, and thank you SO much for that. Forever grateful :)
