We were there valentines day, it was closed. FR 500 is a decent drive, lots of photo ops. Certainly be ready for 15 mph top speep! Rocky road, worth the run!
Beautiful and not crowded.
Cooper, clean, pure lake. Great fishing. I recommend camping and swimming here.
Well kept facility. Running water.. clean. Peaceful mountain lake. Swimming area. Picnic tables. $3 daily use.
