Sarrell Dental & Eye Center - Pinson

I am here and have been since 7:59 and it is now 12 past 8am and they are still not open my son has an 8am appointment and I find this very unprofessional especially considering the fact I live an hour away and still managed to get here on time!

Idk what’s going on I called to today to see if my daughter had an appointment at 9:00am. I called at 8 no answer so I came up to the office by it being so close no one was there and the door was locked. Another family came a little after me at 8:50am and sat and waited the door was still locked. I waited till 9:30am and left to run errands I came back it’s 10:50am sitting in the parking lot with my girls the door is still locked no one is answering the phone and why does the website say there open when it’s closed?

My kids had gone to this dentist for years. About 2-3 years and it took me so long to finally find another place bc i live so close thought it was convenience. First they have students practicing on children, i usually never signed and just waited for the MD dr. They take FOR EVER to call you back like 20-30 mins sometimes even more. They over schedule patient once they forgot about my kids and waited about 1 hour. My phone was stolen from one of the rooms as i was going back in foward checking on 2 of my kids. The last thing that happened that made me take my kids out was one day when i was in a hurry i let the students take care of my one thinking they would call us back faster (which didn't happen), and one of them dropped dental glue in his eye. They have not yet reimbursed my money for prescription which wasn't a lot but it was not something i feel i needed to pay for since they caused the accident. Im not going to be calling them every week to tell them what they need to do they should already know. I had to go to UAB eye emergency, childrens check ups waste some gas and time bc of this. While pregnant and had to leave my other two children with someone whike i did, it was the biggest inconvenience ever. Unless you are willing to wait and watch a whole series on your ipad in the waiting room and have students working on your kids this is not a place you want to take your kids.
