Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever used. I take a temperature sensitive medication that they can’t seem to get to me on time. They call 3-5 times a week. I call and they have no clue what is happening from the other 3-5 conversations I’ve had unnecessarily that week.nnGet it together. If my insurance wasn’t making me use you, I would drop you so fast.nnYou’re everything that is wrong with the healthcare industry.
Background about my self:n- I have an autoimmune disorder. I need to take 2-3 hour infusions every 6 weeks and have been taking this important medication since the year 2013. I have never missed a dosage expect for once ( at the time i did not have health insurance and was difficult to receive this medication.) I was lucky enough i had landed a job with a health insurance company and been with them for 3 years and been on health insurance and yet again have never missed my infusion.nn-However this year for 2021 my health insurance changed the pharmacy vendor to Accredo. I never used Accredo Pharmacy. Since i work for my health insurance I was well informed of these changes before it hit society. I started to prepare myself, reached out to my nurse case manager with my health insurance. Went over some factors and made notations last year in 2020.nn- Pharmacy Vendor Changes with the insurance on 2/1/2021 which switched to Accredo Pharmacy. The beginning of February 2021 i started to work on my case which gave me an entire week to prepare for setting my information up with Accredo and getting my medication, supplies, my infusion pump and pole sent to my address so i can receive my Infusion on 2/9/2021when i am originally due for my treatment.nn-Time gets closer and closer in the month of February to my infusion date. The issue was that Accredo needed paperwork from my doctors office for permission to ship my medications and supplies. I had my case escalated through Accredo 3 - 4 different times so I can get my belongings shipped to me in a timely manner.nn-Note: i have never in the past experience my dr office failing to get the paperwork submitted in a timely manner, and i have been seeing my dr for almost 2 years or longer now. Also we are now going into the starting week of 2/8/2021 the week of the snowy weather pandemic that affected the entire state of Texas where I live. So I understand this week majority of professional building and offices were closed int he state of Texas, however keep in mind i was working on my case a week prior before my treatment was even due!nn- When the weather cleared at the end of this week, My nurse with my doctors office kept having ongoing discussions with Accredo and finally figured out the issues. THERE ARE 2 ACCOUNTS THAT ACCREDO MADE FOR ME. One account everything was good to go with the paperwork the second account no information was submitted for documentation from my dr office. After this was brought to my attention 24 hours went by and finally Accredo fixed this in there systems and made one account inactive.nn- Let me guess you think everything is good and I can get my medicine. Wrong!nn-Since Accredo was not able to provide me accurate information, I now only speak to supervisors when calling Accredo. When Speaking to Sup name :Jasmine with Accredo the beginning of week 2/22/2021. She reassured me that she was going to get this taken care of and will wait and hear from pharmacy and provide me updates until resolved and i get my medication in hand. She also reassured me that there will only be 1 package for my infusion, medication, supplies, infusion pump as well as pole and this was going to be shipped and delivered on 2/24/2021 at the beginning of the day.nn-I waited till 2/24/2021 of the morning of. I only received 1 package. However this package was small i was expecting a huge delivery . Accredo only shipped my INFUSION PUMP TO MY HOME! So on the phone again with Accredo speaking to Jasmine once more after waiting on hold for forever. She advised that there were instead 2 packages instead of 1 being shipped to my home address. She said the next package when I receive my medication and supplies will be on 2/26/2021 the morning of. So i waited till this day.
Not worthy of a star at all! Do not use this pharmacy! Meds are never on time, very disorganized and not worth your time for your loved ones that are on a medication schedule. Unfortunately our insurance is making us use them.
The worst company I’ve ever dealt with. None of the representatives know what the other did with my order. If there’s any issues, they don’t call you to let you know. The shipment date passes by and you have to call in to see where you’re order is and then say they’re waiting on something or needing more info, etc. I’ve asked to be signed up for text alerts and each time they say I’m signed up then the next time I call in, they ask if I want to be signed up for texts. It’s never a simple process. Always many hoops to jump through. I’ve been waiting on my refill for 3 weeks now.
If I could give you guys a 0 I would. How can you be this horrendous at filling prescriptions on time.nnDamn shame.
