I don't even want to give this company any stars at all. I am not one of their customers. thankfully, in fact I run a completely different business but I had the very unfortunate displeasure of having to attempt to help a mutual customer deal with these people and they are ridiculous. So I rent trucks, only insured drivers may rent a free truck that we have. I do not need to know what a customers insurance policy covers and I am well aware that only commercial truck driver insurance covers our trucks, that is fine, we have insurance for our trucks, I just need to know that a person is an insured driver, period. Our mutual customer did not have a current copy of his insurance so he called these people to have it sent, they refused. I have people do this at least 3 times a week and have NEVER had an insurance company refuse to send THEIR OWN PAYING CUSTOMER proof of what THEY PAY FOR!!! I tried to explain to these people (as did our mutual customer) that we don't want proof of insurance because it covers the truck, just that we need proof that every driver is insured, period, no more to it, I wasn't asking for policy info just the proof of insurance card, the customer himself needed it for his own car, because he had an expired one (most people do). These people proceeded to brow beat their own customer about what coverage he had, to the point where he asked me to speak with them and explain what we needed, then these people attempted to brow beat me; telling me that if there was an accident and we all went to court... I cut him off because first the proof of insurance had nothing to do with actual coverage and second because going to court does not an insurance policy change, he also told me that I should sell this man commercial truck drivers insurance because that would cover the truck... Knowing I am NOT an insurance agent and that our mutual customer is NOT a CDL holder, it was just a ridiculous statement meant to be sarcastic or passive aggressive!!! These people were rude, defensive, and frankly irrational, they brow beat their poor elderly customer to the point that he was so utterly confused when all he needed was a copy of his insurance card!!!! Stay as far away from these people as possible, they don't just offer bad customer service, they go out of their way to argue that their bad behavior is not just excusable but right. It is NEVER right to brow beat anyone, much less a paying customer; it is NEVER ok to treat ANYONE the way they treated this poor man!!!
