From the first tasting, to the last bite. Chef Michael and team went to world’s end to make sure our wedding was perfect. My wife is a bit picky, me a bit flashy, we wanted an abundance of options at a reasonable price that tasted fresh and perfect… Chef Michael executed that vision amazingly.nnI can’t even begin to describe how awesome their team was from finding somewhere to get my wife’s favorite ice cream, to endless iterations of the menu to make sure everything to the sides was perfect, the team worked to design and fully customize everything to our exact specification. Special shout out to Amber for being one of the most professional, responsive, and amazing organizers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.nnOverall, Chef Michael may be one of the best choices we made with our March 2021 wedding. They went out of the way to tour the venue with us and come up with a unique game plan for our food being cooked on site and even left us the cutest picnic basket with treats for us to take home afterwards. Food was a big focus of us for our wedding and I couldn’t recommend anyone better than Chef Michael. We tried caterers from all over Houston and Austin big and small to find the perfect one and no one ever even came close to Chef Michael for quality, taste, and value.nnI’m honestly going to need to book Chef Michael again in the future just to eat that great food again.

We have been ordering take out from Chef Michael's Gourmet Kitchen weekly since Covid onset. We love! Chef Michael changes the menu often so there are always new things to try. Entrees, salads, soups, pizzas, sides, sandwiches, and desserts have all been exceptionally good. For down home gourmet comfort food you can't beat his cheddar mac n cheese. Portions are generous and prices reasonable. I hope Chef Michael continues to-go orders once catering is back in full swing.

HIred them to do my Rehearsal Dinner and my Wedding Reception. They took everything and just handled it, which is what I needed. They are precious people and I would be honored to call them friends. I will be using them again for any kind of event. Just all in all, good food, good people that you can trust and depend on.

We used Chef Michael and his staff to prepare an evening meal for our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. Chef Michael and Amber were wonderful to work with, very knowledgeable, and all the details and menu selections were handled over the phone. The evening of the celebration, Chef Michael arrived at the predetermined time with the food and all the serving equipment, and stayed until all the food was accounted for. His staff, led by Jill, arrived and began setting up all the equipment , and was very attentive to all the details that go with catering needs. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed. Everything was exactly as ordered, and we could not have been more pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. At the predetermined time, Jill and her helper began putting the leftovers into plastic containers to leave with us, began cleaning up, and putting the serving dishes into a specific area for pick up. Chef Michael arrived very shortly afterward, loaded up all the equipment, including our trash. I highly recommend Chef Michael’s Gourmet Kitchen for any catering you might need. We will certainly use him again.

I am very impressed by the quality of food. My kids ate all of their food quietly and quickly. I will definitely be back today.
