I have 5 children and we had to come stay here due to our house flooding. I was already iffy because we had a bad experience at the hotel previous to us staying here. I can say this has been the best most comfortable stay I’ve had at any hotel. Angelica at the front desk customer service is out of this world she really goes above and beyond for the guest. Not just her all the staff I’ve came in contact with the lady who prepares the breakfast. The hotel is clean and quiet. I would definitely stay again and again. The situation at hand sucks but they have put a HUGE EASE on me with everything that’s going on because my children are comfortable. They even like the staff. That’s always a plus for me!!!! Great hotel!
I stayed for a night over the weekend after the ice storm/water pipe bursts from the previous week. Hotel was wonderful, clean, and had RUNNING HOT WATER. All the staff were great.nnSpecial shout out to Angelica Salazar. Came to her with a guest relations problem due to items I left in the laundry room that were stolen. She was on it and kept me in the loop for a few hours. I thought all hope was lost, right until I was about to check out when she found the perp and resolved the issue like a pro! I was so thankful to get my stuff back! Thank you Angelica!
Gave an extra star for the attentive front desk and the maintenance guy that responded within 5 minutes when I had a problem adjusting the thermostat (user error).nI understand that they are undergoing a major remodel but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep the common areas clean. Walls and carpets are disgusting. Room was “clean” but old. Some areas like the shower I felt were sanitary but stained from age. There’s also very little decor, just one picture on a smaller wall. Lights in the top of the bed flickered constantly when turned on. Room also lacked a pen and paper pad that I was searching for when on a call with client and an ice bucket. There’s ice on the floor by the elevator which was nice, but nothing to put it in.nWill probably be a much nicer place once remodel is complete.
My stay was so bad that it started off on the bed foot by me getting charged on my credit card on a day I was not expected to arrive. The front desk manager called and notified me of this but was not remorseful and still was not able to refund me for the in accurate charge. Not to mention my daughters room had broken glass in it and a shower that was inoperable, They were forced to switch rooms in the middle of the night. I was there told I would get comp for 1 of my 2 rooms but that was a lie. Police was in and out for whatever issues the hotel had going on. I am now in the process of disputing my credit card charges associated with this hotel because they already charged me on my debit card. I would not stay at this hotel it is not the only hotel in the area please look elsewhere. There is another hotel literally across the highway and another one down the service road.
My brother rented a room for the night while in town. Very nice front desk clerk. Room was spotless and updated. Even had a chase lounge chair in the room.
