Great dispatcher/operator! She was very kind helped me figure out where the crime was happening in relation to where i was as i am not familiar with the area. Was very thoughtful and took the time to make sure everything was explained properly and in detail. Most times ive encountered law enforcement theyre pretty standoffish, and with good reason, but this unit or department or whatever you want to call it is AMAZING!

Best police department! I work at willis library front desk. With years of experience. I'll tell you these officers are really friendly. One day i had to use police department as a safe place to complete a transaction. There was a lady on front desk she was super friendly and helpful to me. I always feel like we are so lucky to have best officers here at campus protecting and helping us. Keep up the good work.

I've been a student at another university and have visited plenty of universities, I've never witnessed a campus police force so keen on ticketing students. As if the parking staff at UNT wasn’t terrible enough with citing students, I see at least two people get pulled over on a nightly basis, and have even been pulled over while on a delivery with a topper on my car going 5 mph over the speed limit. Drivers beware.. God forbid they smell something in your car when pulling you over for something as small as failing to signal a lane change, you will be spending the new 30 minutes or so being frisked and searched by these vultures, I’ve seen it weekly since transferring here. The cops will sit in hidden corners day in and day out looking for people to pull over. Your duty is to serve and protect, instead you intimidate the entirety of UNT students who drive a car to and from the university.

I have attended UNT since 2014 and I have been ticketed twice for absolutely no mistakes. First time for passing a stop sign, that was totally incorrect. Officer's claim was that I didn't stop for sufficient time. Second one in the recent days that I did not follow ROW. Incoming vehicle was far away and I made a left turn in green at Hickory and Ave B. How could I make left turn without making sure that I am following ROW and safe, specially seeing the officer's car right behind the incoming car. Absolutely absurd! I have lived very close to campus for years and drive Welch at least 2-4 times a day and all I see is these cops waiting to catch a pray. That is not protecting the campus community, that is punishing for living and driving around campus.
