Sticky Floors , Dirty Towels, Cockroaches!nnThe room was uninviting right off the bat. We noticed the floors were stained and even worse, the bathroom had black marks everywhere. The interior is very poorly decorated, the kitchen left filthy. In the restroom we were given two small towels that looked as if they had been used to change a car tire (even smelled like feet). We were also greeted in the bathroom by small cockroaches, so there is an active nest in this motel. Do yourself the favor and steer clear of this dump.

I was very surprised by how clean and comfortable this place turned out to be. We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend, so this place was one of the last places available on short notice. The accommodations were more than adequate and I have no complaints. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
It's comparatively affordable and clean. I've stayed there twice and have not seen any bugs in the hotel room, even though I've seen pretty big roaches in the parking lot at night (I'm not complaining - it's south Texas). The kitchenette is nice to have. The bathroom could have used some maintenance. It was clean but one year the toilet seat was wobbly, and my most recent room didn't have a shower curtain.
