Walmart Bakery

I would give zero stars if that was an option. This bakery is a joke. I went last Wednesday to put in my order. Went to pick it up an hr after my original pick up time. My order was nowhere to be found and neither was my order sheet. I had to wait 30 mins while they looked and got other people to look for it. I told them at that point they needed to stop looking and come up with a solution to make my order. Whether that was calling someone in to make it now or having me come back for it later. I send a friend to go pick it up since I was busy setting up my son’s birthday party and this is what they give her!!!! Are you kidding me right now!?! I told her to get a manager. I’ve order a cake combo before. They put the cupcakes in a cupcake container and the cake by itself. At the least, they could’ve put it in another round container. They had a cake decorator working at that point. Management never made a move towards getting them redone. Instead they made it $0.01. I would’ve much rather have paid full price and had it done correctly than to see my son’s disappointed face on his birthday. I will avoid shopping here at all costs for personal and business reasons even though I come to this Walmart every other day. That’s how poorly I rate management’s problem resolution skills. I was a grocery retail department manager for 6 years and I would’ve never handled this so terribly. Livid is an understatement.
