Avamere Rehabilitation of Cascade Park

If I could give this place zero stars I would! This place does not know anything about nursing or compassion. A family member was admitted her for physical therapy and ended up back in the hospital 10 times worse than before admission. Not only did they not notice or care for diabetic ulcers that turned necrotic, could have very well have lost his toes because of it. He gained 30 pounds in 3 weeks....THIRY POUNDS! This place was well on their way of killing my family member and I wouldn't even put my worst enemy here.

My brother has stayed at Avamere Cascade Park for more than a year and he loves it there. The staff are outstanding and keep me informed at every step. Avamare came highly recommended by friends and relatives and I can see why.

This place was very kind to our family member that was there for a few weeks! Regarding the Director of activities Amy was very personal and respectful ! Amy always went above and beyond for our mom that was in for a few day ! She is honest polite and very knowledgeable! Only downside of this rehabilitation was Admission’s staff was unprofessional and rude .

My mom had to stay here for a few weeks after a trying hospitalization that had left her too weak to get herself to the bathroom. After one week she was as mobile as she was before her hospital stay and when she checked out a week later she was more fit than she has been in 5 years. I am impressed. Especially knowing how difficult she can be. I found the place clean and well staffed with nice people.

My mom is about to enter this facility for rehab from multiple illnesses. I’m hoping she is able to have kind, trained, professional staff help get her on her feet.nnPlease please please take good care of my mother, she’s been through so much
