Insta: @SerafinaTheAirstream - This was our first boondocking trip! We’re beach people and selected this place based on reviews. The place is spectacular by itself. If you want white sandy beaches and crystal clear water, this is not the place for you. Go to the Alabama or the Florida Panhandle beaches. Regardless, this is a calm and peaceful place to stay. It’s very easygoing during weekdays and busiest on weekends, as expected. I felt safe the whole time. Nights are pitch dark and quiet. Once in while, we saw kids on pickups doing donuts on the sand. They were not close to me, but I kept a watchful eye on them. Others drive too fast in the hard pack sand. That’s the only negative. In summary, we’ll be back! Highly recommended!

Use this point on the beach and head east for some quiet beach space all to yourself. Great spot for stargazing, meteor showers and sunsets!

Pretty nice beach to go with family or friends, the water is perfect for children or not swimmers.
