I have the most amazing childhood memories of this place. On a lark I looked it up as we were traveling across to country on an RV and it is still there but under new management. Well, the owners I remember from the back in the day were already old in the 70s. The it is much as I remembered but with an RV park. February is really not the time to visit a dude ranch. But the place looks great and the new owner is working hard to make it better than ever. I hope she succeeds and I highly recommend this place but not in the dead of winter!

This is really fun, place. We went with our teenager boys, stayed for a night, got to live at ranch, got a hey ride across river, educational about Bandera, food, learn how to rope, and night time campfire with kids. Morning city horseback ride, pool, tubing at creek - oh what fun! Will visit again, with friends, this time for at least w-÷ nights. Our guide was Texas barrel race champ for 25 yrs.... thanks guys! Loved this dude ranch with my dudes.

We had five (including an 8 YO) in our group and came by for a morning ride on a weekday. The ranch was peaceful that morning and we were warmly greeted by Vicki in the front office. Vicki had been working with us over the last 24 hours to make sure that routine dental work for the horses and the crazy Texas weather, didn’t affect our ability to have a great ride on the ranch.nnWhen we got to the barn, our horses were saddled and ready to go. Our wranglers that morning, Billy and Jeshua, were also incredible. They were knowledgeable about the horses, the ranch, and the terrain. They kept us all in check and we even saw several deer while on our ride.nnThe horses were well trained and ready for any level of rider and my only disappointment was that we couldn’t have stayed longer!nnTwin Elms is a great place to stay/visit, with exceptional people, and it’s really a true gem. Highly recommend if you’re in the hill country area, particularly Bandera!

My wife and I stayed for a night in mid-February of 2021. It was COLD but the cabin we were in has an AC unit that doubles as a heater. The owners were very kind and made us feel completely welcomed and invited us to a special Valentines Day event they were throwing. The threat of bad incoming winter weather spooked us into returning home before we completed our two-night-stay but I still wanted to write the Twin Elm Guest Ranch a nice review because of how well we were treated as guests.

Absolutely stunning views of Texas hill country. Peaceful, with visits by many animals. Host is super thoughtful and makes the place feel like home. If you want to be surrounded by nature, get away from people, rest and recharge-this is the place!
