Horrible. As soon as we walk in we greet the clerks as they just stood there staring at us. We greeted them again and proceeded to the counter. Josie Nuncio was the clerk that we dealt with today. She was rude, demeaning and unprofessional. I told her we wanted to speak to the judge and she said we had to schedule an appointment because he wasn’t in. I told her we were from out of town and she said she drove an hour to work everyday. She was trying to schedule us for another day but I insisted on the same day. When the judge arrived she didn’t even let him know we were waiting until he came up to the counter and asked what was on his schedule. Unprofessional, disrespectful front desk staff. Aside from one lady, Rhonda, who showed us some decency and treated us like human beings and the judge being the same it wasn’t a complete bad experience. They need a replacement for Josie Nuncio.
I got a speeding ticket and went to pay my fine and the office was closed for more than a week. There was no holiday- the other precincts were open- they were just closed for no reason as shown by a piece of printer paper hanging on the door. I was almost late paying my ticket because the county apparently doesn’t consider people not visiting every day to check in to see if the offices are open or not. I probably wasted more money on gas driving there and back than my actual ticket cost.
