Franklin County Sheriff's Department

My name is Petros Pisinos and I had one of my properties, a house which I have been remodeling, broken into, last Tuesday night, May 5, 2020, around 8 p.m. The two individuals took a 20” chain saw, several dewalt 20 V cordless tools, some corded tools and other items.nSomebody saw the two thieves and their car and he reported that to the Franklin county Sheriff’s office. The deputies responded very fast, located the vehicle just a few hours later and kept pursuing the subject, who denied any involvement in this case. Last Saturday night, just 4 days after the brake in, the deputies had stop this individual with his little truck and neon lights all around his truck, which he had on when he committed the crime, and after a car search they located most of my tools.nLast night I was called in and I was given the recovered tools.nThe reason I am writing this, is because, usually, we all rush to write a complaint but not in many cases do we find the time to praise somebody.nMy many thanks to Nick Watson and his partners, and to all the deputies at the Franklin county Sheriff’s office.

VERY PROFESSIONAL ... POLITE ... ON THE BALL AND GETTING THE JOB DONE ...

Was sitting in the Wal-Mart parking lot and a sheriffs deputy pulls up and immediately demands identification from me. I ask him if I committed some type of crime, he jumps out of charger and starts intimidating me. First off, disrespecting the public like that, any officer deserves to be fired. Especially when I’m sitting in a parking lot waiting on a friend. Lastly. Tennessee is NOT a stop and ID state. You also have to have reasonable articulation that I’ve either committed a crime or that I am about to commit a crime. Winchester Sheriff’s office, put a leash on your dogs.

My ex husband owes back child support and the Coffee County support office has sent over 3 summons for him and yet,your department still hasn't served him.AGAIN.This has been a problem for some time now and he doesn't work and has the same address he always has (1422 Lockmiller Road)yet no one will try to serve him.I called Tuesday and the young lady that answered the phone was the rudest person I've ever dealt with which is uncalled for and I called again today to check and once again the person (a guy)was so rude.If they don't like their job,they need to get another one but my complaint is that I don't feel like your department is trying to serve him because it is (just child support)to y'all .I think if it was a warrant for drugs etc.you all would be staking out where he lives (with his mommy)but since its for child support,to y'all it's no big deal.The rude lady I spoke to Tuesday said it's because y'all are under staffed and gave me other ridiculous excuses.Im not sure why no one has tried to serve him because he isn't hard to find and is in the system often but I don't appreciate the way people answering the phones are so hateful and rude when I call to see why he hasn't been served.We all have bad days but that's their job,to serve the public,so if they can't be nice for just a few minutes when someone calls with a question or whatever it may be,they need to find a new profession .This isn't the only time where I've called and was spoken to rudely.It is very uncalled for and not my fault the county is understaffed .Like I said,if he was wanted for drugs,murder,or other offenses, you all would already have him in custody.He has always lived at that Still Springs address and could easily be served if a deputy would park at the church by his house and wait for him to make his beer run.(which he isn't suppose to be driving anyway)but he can be found if someone would actually try to serve him.
