Oh the Abernathy, where do I begin? With my first encounter with Tina at check in? Amazing. So hospitable. The room? Very clean and spacious. I had the pleasure of staying at the amazing hotel for 12 days and I’d do it all over again! (Well... I might have to next year!) well worth it. Thank you to the whole staff but especially Gary, Tina and Melinda for making my stay so great!

We really enjoyed our stay. Literally walked onto campus 100 feet from the hotel. The rooms are very modern and clean. Nice hard floors, no nasty carpet. Front desk staff was very polite and professional.

It gives me great pleasure to write this review. On monday morning April 13th 2020 our home was hit by an ef-3 tornado in seneca, sc. We found housing in clemson, sc at a hotel named the Abernathy. The Abernathy hotel was a pet friendly since we had a small dog named rocky. Upon arrival we were met by a wonderful person named Tina. She was polite and had a wonderful smile to match her wit. From management to housekeeping all employees were kind, considerate and always asking if we needed anything. The hotel was neat and clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have experienced. Quirky, add to the level of excitement customer service at this hotel, it make a lasting impression on us. Our stay lasted for over seven months while our home was being done. Thank GOD for a hotel named the ABERNATHY.

We love this hotel! It's exceptionally clean, and the service is always friendly and helpful. The location can NOT be beat!! Our only con is that every room has been designed to have a king bed; while they do have a foldout couch in the room; rooms with two queen beds would be great. That aside, The Abernathy is always our first choice when we're in Clemson!
