I spend $40 a year to use this library, as I'm out of Charleston County. It's the best $40 I spend all year. The staff are incredibly helpful. What is not available in this branch can be ordered from other branches. Their Interlibrary Loan system is wonderful.nnDon't expect this to be a totally quiet place. It's pretty much a hive of activity. And that's a good thing!
The Cynthia Graham Hurd St. Andrews Regional Library in West Ashley is one of my favorite libraries in the Charleston area. There is plenty of work space here and plenty of room to do research and enjoy the facility. It is also a quiet place which is not always the case with all libraries. This branch is very well managed and operated and offers just about everything you could need from a library.
The staff is amazing. They are all so helpful and pleasant!
Absolutely excellent library, great selection, and the best people. I always get the help I need with my business here, and the educational/research opportunities they have are just incredible.
Alvar at the Cynthia Graham Hurd/St. Andrews library in West Ashley was so helpful! I was in a week or 2 ago and was having some trouble getting the computer to properly print my documents and Alvar came to rescue and solved the problem. This library is always clean and the staff are very friendly and always ready to help! Love this library.
