Called them yesterday and no one was available - but I already knew that was the case. Spoke with Alex, and Amanda was busy talking with other people in the office, he said, and she would call me back shortly. Have called them many times over the past 4-5 years and have never gotten anyone and never receive a return call - literally NEVER. Actively looking to find another broker. They suck. Problem is when you call other local broker you get VM. Seems like no insurance agent is working, ever. At one point Richard McElroy (Partner) was my agent- never heard from that guys and I know I called him at least 1/2 dozen times. Shop elsewhere.

High Smith Insurance let my flood insurance lapse 2 years in a row. You don't hear from an agent until you call their office with a complaint. Good luck getting a straight answer. The service is terrible and the follow up is non-existent. Do not put your property at risk by using them. I was referred to them by my realtor who was friend's with one of the agents. I trusted my realtor to set me up with a local, reputable agent when I moved to Charleston. I now have a REAL insurance agent.
