This was home for my family, Father Luigi delivers upbeat masses....and the congregation feels like a community all it's own. My husband and I were married here, unforgettable.

My parents were married here, I grew up here and my children were baptised here. This is home. It is always comfortable and welcoming. We moved, but we drive a little farther to attend because the people and community are amazing.

I have been attending Sacred Heart Parish of Battle Ground for twelve years now, moved up here from So. Cal; and our little church is very welcoming. All are welcome!!nFather Aloysius is a very humble Priest; his homilies are always to the heart. Sometimes I think he is speaking to me. All I can say come and see for yourselves.

I'm a traditional Catholic. I did not like the 10:00 Mass on Sunday yesterday. The priest shortened the Eucharistic Prayer as much as he could, and he changed the wording of the Lord's Prayer in order to fit his chanting.nnFemales took as many roles as they could, even so far as consuming the remaining amounts of sacred substance and putting away the linens.nnNobody knelt for Communion time. Nobody took a knee to receive.nnI will not be coming back to this church. It was one of the worst services I have ever attended.nnIf you are a Christian searching for a church, please do not let this affect your choice of Catholicism. Try Holy Rosary Church in Portland or St. James in Downtown Vancouver.

Father Aloysius is a humble disciple of God. He leads us, the Lord's sheep, in this often misguided world. We are grateful for his spititual leadership.
