Stuck in aldi parking lot for hours this weekend, car keys locked in the trunk. Silly me. Called several locksmiths and no one available. Several police officers came and tried really hard in my hot car. I appreciate their endeavor but problem remains. Called two more locksmiths and they both said the earliest available time is Monday, that's two days later!!!nnDay getting dark, the parking lot nearly empty, and we were searching solutions online like crazy. We found two ways to open the trunk but lacked the tools. Suddenly an officer came to help us. Like a movie hero. Failed twice but the third time, succeeded!!! You could imagine how thrilled we were. My wife was so impressed by this officer's neat job. Come and go like a breeze, how he pulled his knife etc. What a pity I didn't catch his service number. He is a handsome young man. My 5 years old girl asked me why his legs so long?nnThe day saved. My family wanna thank all the hard work these officers did. The best of all, the culture of NA police department which produce nice officers. Didn't leave us hopelessly in the dark.
I want to say that the officers name was Patton (sorry if I am incorrect) but hopefully the correct person will know. I was stranded off exit one in NA out of gas and after trying the gas app and no help he came and offered so much help and took me to the store not once but twice so I could get gas and back home and he was so super nice to me. I just moved to NA and I am so thankful for him.
It was no big deal, the clerks were curteous and quick in my request for a police incident report.
I just wanted to thank the North Augusta Police department for going above and beyond the community needs. I would be forever grateful for their service.
