Both of my grandparents were here and had a great experience. I am so proud to be a part of this team years later.

Through an error by my brother in law, my sister ended up at Anchor after a lengthy hospital stay. Their first grossly negligent act was giving us a phone number to a phone that wasn’t even in my sister’s room. So all the times we were calling and couldn’t reach her there was no phone in the room. Then she developed a uti/sepsis and had to be hospitalized for 11 more days. She lost all the progress she had achieved and then some. The staff there are underpaid, overworked, and under educated. Maybe that explains their lack of motivation and compassion. She then had a stroke in this facility and I can’t even talk about this. It hurts too much. This facility looks great on the outside but is greatly lacking in all other aspects. Do your due diligence before leaving your loved one here. I too would give them less than a one star if possible.

definitely agree. call backs are not on there agendas..actually calling an ext. is a miracle if u get an answer. im sorry for any other families that are going thru this travesty they call healthcare/ rehab. and now with covid. no visitors whatsoever wonder if their policy will change when they dont get a check???.

I would recommend checking on a weekday.

I am giving 1 star only because 0 is not an option....nMy mother is at this facility for rehabilitation after having her leg amputated due to diabetes.nBecause she is not a long term patient they will not do her laundry although she has been here for almost 3 months. She is supposed to get midodrene an hour before dialysis but because it's not there responsibility to give it to her or even find out if she is supposed to have it before she does not get her medicine. She has been admitted in the hospital 3 times now during her stay at Anchor and each time she returns she has a hard time getting her belongings. My brother and I have for 5 days been trying to find out where her clothes are and get them to her but no one can seem to find them. When we have been able to get someone on the phone we can not get a answer as to where her phone or clothes are or why she has been lying in vomit covered clothes for a day and a half. I am very angry about the care my mother is receiving and at how rude and incompetent the staff at such a high priced facility is that I am going to try and find a way to have an investigation opened up to make sure that this facility is legitimate and to help the poor patients that are having to deal with the job that is being done by the staff. I came to visit my mother often 5 o'clock one day and noticed some of the staff in the parking lot smoking. I went in to ask someone to open her blinds so I could see her and waited about 15 minutes before one of the women who i had seen smoking finally came in and after walking past me and locking back up asked me how they could help me. I replied that I would like to see my mother was responded with the answer that it was after 5 and she was to busy to open her blind for me to see when visiting hours are supposed to be 24 hours. I have had this problem on more than one occasion. I was informed today that the administrator has possession of the patients belongings if they have to leave the facility to get medical attention and come back. So I am posting this question as to what kind of administration would allow their patients to sit around in clothes covered in vomit and be okay with it?, Or with a staff who apparently is not paid to do anything except bring food that is not fit to feed a dog.
