Warneke Cleaners

Shirt was dropped off the be cleaned and came back with spots in the back. They kept it over 3 weeks the customer service is bad. There is one nice woman there. Cleaned the shirt 4-5 times and they put a large dark stain in the back. Basically refund my 3$ and didn't care. I have been a customer for a while but I won't be going back. Customer service in the works SUCKS!

I have used Warneke Cleaners for 8 years, but no more. For the most part, I was satisfied with the service but occasionally would have a problem with not getting a stain out of a dress shirt. After bringing things to their attention, they would attempt to get the problem resolved, often with an attitude.nThis last time, I brought in a new formal dress shirt, never worn, to be done. I brought the shirt directly from Lionel Smith Clothiers. We looked it over and all was good. Brought it to cleaners, Owner checked me in, we discussed the shirt, new just wanted it done to soften and pressed. Went back to pick it up next day to wear that evening and had a rather large dark stain/spot on collar. I noticed the stain immediately thought the plastic cover. Ladies said they would redo it and to Come back next day. I had to go out and buy another new formal shirt for that evening, expensive solution to my problem! Went back next day only to find stain still there. Sheila owner, comes up and immediately begins to tell me the shirt came in with the stain and it was not their problem. She says nothing in their process could produce a stain like that. She gets in my face basically challenges my honesty and says people bring new shirts in all the time with stains on them. After berating me in front of other customers, she offered to redo the shirt again. I left but later decided that was enough so came back and got the shirt. I took the shirt to Osbon's Cleaners and asked if they could get the stain out. Since I had not been there before, I didn't know what to expect. Gave them my information and left. Within two hours, I got a call saying my shirt was ready for pickup. Picked it up, stain was gone, shirt beautifully pressed and was able to wear it that evening.nIts a great disappointed to see an Aiken business treat good customers in such disrespectful and unappreciative way as Warneke. All downtown Aiken, we have street signs to promote Integrity, honesty and character. Hopefully Warneke will take note on the way to work.
