Dr. Velez is awesome. I have known him for 13 years. Being in the dental field I expect the best and hands down he is it. He has performed 3 root canals on me . (yes even us dental folks need dental work sometimes) I have the up-most respect for him. I higly recommend him. The first thing I noticed when I walked into Dr. Velez's office was a calming atmosphere, and the staff was very warm and gracious. Then, when I met with Dr. Velez, I was so impressed with his caring & calming personality. I noticed that I was gradually feeling at peace instead of apprehensive about my root canal that day. He took a good amount of time to ask questions, explained the procedure then made sure all my questions were answered. I felt completely confident in Dr. Velez as he proceeded to do a perfect job. He communicated often & made sure I was comfortable the entire time. He was very professional & I feel he's so very good at what he does. It's rare when you can feel completely comfortable & confident in a dental chair! I'm so grateful to Dr. Velez & his staff for making my experience such a positive one. You guys are fantastic! Dr. Velez saved the tooth and the vacation! My husband and I are traveling from out of state. His toothache was worsening. We are so fortunate to find such a skilled professional in Dr. Velez. Amy, his Office Manager, got my husband in likety-split. The very next day, the staff's Day Off, Dr. Velez treated my husband. Three hours later, my husband walked out pain free. The follow up calls from Dr. Velez the following two days sealed the deal. Dr. Velez is a top notch endodontist. His staff are very professional and caring. We cannot recommend this dental practice enough. 10 Stars! Thank you for saving my husband's tooth and our vacation!
Dr. Velez and his staff are wonderful. I have never had a root canal before but my experience was painless. I heard horror stories from people that had it so I was not very optimistic about getting it done. Dr. Velez explained the procedure and he told me what to expect. He sent me home with discharge instructions and a prescription for pain. I didn’t need to get the prescription filled. I experienced some discomfort but no serious pain which over the counter ibuprofen help. I highly recommend Dr. Velez if you need some work done on your teeth.
I highly recommend Dr. Velez!! I had a root canal and it was my 1st time. I was very nervous because I have never heard positive comments about root canals. I must say that I had no pain or discomfort at all during my procedure. During my consultation he and his staff was very welcoming and informative about everything from payment to the procedure. Even though this was a very intense procedure, it was the best experience I ever had with my oral care. Dr. Velez and his assistant were very attentive during the procedure and always notified me at different times what has already been done and what was next. For my recovery, I am on no pain or discomfort. Dr. Velez and his assistant did tell me what to expect during recovery and explained what I needed to do to take care of my tooth after the procedure. I even received a phone call from Dr. Velez after the procedure to make sure everything was going ok. Not many doctors do this and this gives me a great impression of the fact Dr. Velez cares about his patients!!
