They like to act like they care about you, but they don’t. I reached out to the Title IX Coordinator, she acted like they would do anything to help me escape an abusive relationship. When I took out a PRIVATE student loan the financial aid department lied to me and told me that the federal government was in control how much I could borrow and made me sign something completely underdressed excepting less then 1/2 of what I was aprrove to borrow. I needed that money to have somewhere stay. I told them I have no friends or family in Tulsa and my closest family is 4 hrs away. Now I’m currently so sick from staying in my car. Now my only option is to go back to my abuser and hope to stay alive until I can move back home. They put on this huge front like they cared even called the Deen of Students in to talk to me while I was sobbing in fear. I hoping to stay alive long enough to make it out of Oklahoma. Maybe I should contact a lawyer?
