It was my first time visiting. This place was so cute and the food was pretty good. I really enjoyed my Chai Tea Latte. I would have given the cafe five stars but the service I received was terrible. The man who helped me was quite rude and a bit sarcastic. I don’t think he should be working as the cashier. The young woman who made my drink was such a sweet heart. I feel bad that she has to work with him. Maybe it was a rough day for him.

Have been here a few times now and everything is very good. Sandwiches are fresh and staff are friendly. I work in the Village and will be frequenting here often!nnEDITED: they now have online ordering and pay which makes ordering for short lunch breaks super convienent and quick! Wish I could up it to 6 stars!nnEDITED 3/11/21: it pains me to change my review bc i love the Village Cafe but the new staff in the morning are horrible. They can’t multitask, are rude, can’t make drinks, and are very flustered all the time even when they’re not busy. I gave them a few weeks to get acclimated but it seems they will never get the hang of it. I put in a pick up order this morning, got there 10 min later and then waited another 10 min for the lady to put a muffin in a bag. There were only 3 other people in the cafe at the time. This was the 3rd time in 3 weeks that I had horrible service.

Quaint Village Restaurant near Society Hill. 2020 Organic restaurant award. They offer alternative milks for your Beverages. No decaf expresso so it does limit selection for caffeine sensitive souls. Some GF selections on food.

Bad customer service. Stopped in to grab a to go lunch, don't wear my mask due to health reasons except when asked. Young guy behind counter asked if I had a mask, so I reached in purse for my mask and the young man moves away from me as if I'd pulled out a snake and cowers pressed against the back counter looking at me. I stare at him for a moment wondering what his issue is, then realized this is not the place I want to patronize. To bad they are not inclusive of customers who can't or have a hard time with masks, will not return.
