Holiday Inn & Suites Tulsa South

We arrived little early for check in. The General Manager let us go ahead and check in. That is the only good thing about this Hotel. And the lobby was nice and clean.We booked the Family suite with our two little dogs. After entering the room it looked dirty and way outdated. But that isn't why this hotel gets a one star from me. The doors had greasy hands and prints all over them. The sink faucet wasn't wiped down. The floors had food on them that my dogs were eating. One of the hand towels had brown stuff on it. The room needs to be deep deep cleaned. We end up checking out right then and got a refund. For a room to charge someone over $200 dollars including pet stay and not up to standards is unacceptable. We stay at Holiday Inn all the time this one was the worse. Major room updates. House Keepers who pay closer attention to detail. Doing some of the things i mentioned and from other reviews. This Hotel could get back on track.

Room design was nice, but the room was dirty. Leftover trash and cookies in upper shelf of closet. Children hand prints all over the wall. The headboard had nasty stuff on it. Bed frame made noise eveytime you moved in it. The neighbors very were loud waking up us through out the night. Walls were thin... worst night of sleep. Pool was closed, by time we check in before 9 . breakfast wasn't great either. Stuff was pleasant.

Mold in bathroom. Coffee maker doesn't work. All hand sanitizing stations around the floors not working. House keeping didn't come to freshen up room while we were out. Toilet paper holder broken. No extra blanket in room. Only one bar of soap. Terrible breakfast.

I mainly only given this three stores because I look behind the bedside tables. I think all the Destiny's was having a family reunions and I also found it look like a fruit Roll-Up rapper. I really didn't have very many places to charge our staff there was three of us so we had a lot to charge. My sister came back from breakfast in apparently we didn't get a free breakfast. So we had to stop somewhere else to eat. Other than that the staff is really nice. That's where the three stars come in.

Very clean, extremely polite and helpful staff.nWe had a very hard time finding a room in Tulsa last night and were about to give up and head home. We tried one more hotel and lucked out with the last room which they weren't going to rent at first but they were so understanding about our struggles that they readied the room for us. Needless to say that my husband and I will be staying there again when we're back in Tulsa.nDid i mention that it was our 37th wedding anniversary?
