Hillcrest Hospital South

So I had an ablation here, was ver apprehensive as i should be. However, the staff was amazing, the staff was super nice, very accommodating and the doctors were AWESOME! Ever checking in was great. I would come back here time and time again if i needed to!! Thanks everyone!!!!

I went to Hillcrest South ER Friday afternoon due to a multitude of symptoms. I literally felt my body shutting down. The nursing staff was amazing in calming me down and promised they would take care of me. They did exactly that! I then was greeted by a Dr. Joshua Curry who was just as attentive and concerned as the nurses. He ran every test he could think of to find out my problem, which I appreciate. Turns out I was having a severe allergy reaction to an antibiotic another doctor at another facility had prescribed for me. Dr. Curry then started me on other medication which helped tremendously! He kept me there, treating me, until he was sure I would be okay. It's now Monday and I feel like a completely new person, body and mind. I cannot thank the nurses that were there enough and Dr. Curry's knowledge and bedside manner are what all doctors should strive to be! If you have a true medical emergency the ONLY place to be is Hillcrest! Thank you Dr. Curry and all the staff who took care of me. You guys are all amazing!! Thank you for doing what you do!

Hillcrest was great to my husband during his surgery at Hillcrest main. HOWEVER, at South I wasn't allowed to go in with him OR wait in the waiting room. I was allowed to go to every appt with him with no issues. I'm also in the medical field so I more than understand COVID precaution measures. After a $78,000 medical bill the least they can do is allow the spouse to wait in a damn waiting room.

I had my last csection here not long ago. Almost Everybody that came into my room was friendly, professional and took good care of me and my baby. I can't remember anybody's names but I appreciate all they did for us. But the housekeeping is awful. Only saw 2 housekeepers. 1 only took the trash. The other cleaned the bathroom then the doors and hand sanitizer thing on the wall with the same rag.

Taking all covid precautions. Every employee I encountered was friendly, compassionate and helpful.
