If you are still masking & taking precautions this is a pretty decent place to go. The people who are inside working on the computers are not wearing masks so if you're more comfortable with the outdoor patio area or just taking your coffee to go, I would still recommend 918 coffee. I just got a skim mocha with no whipped cream and after the fact I asked the girl if I could have like a half a pump of hazelnut and she was like sure no problem. I think you'll like it. Oh, and the coffee is uniformly awesome.

My son and I so enjoy 918 Coffee Shop just East of Lewis on 11th Street. It is the opposite of pretentious; it is good casual fun. Your visit will not only include excellent coffee (that's a Cappuccino for me.) You can pick records to spin, board games to play, people to get to know or something to quietly read. If you are looking for a high end scene where you go to be seen, this isn't it. Rather, 918 is clean casual comfort. With light fare from the sandwiches to sweets, it is a genuine winner.

I usually come here to study all the time during the weekday.nMy experience here has always been really good and the coffee has always been amazing.nnPlus side for me is that the barista Haley can speak a little Japanese and was able to help me figure out what I would like & her drinks always comes out amazing.nIf you want a drink made right and taste how you want she is the perfect barista for you.nnThe only problem is that the seats are a bit uncomfortable.

Menu says vegan bagel. After having already started eating it we’re told the cream cheese that comes with it isn’t vegan.nnI got the vegan chik’n and waffles. Chik’n was pretty good but the waffles were hard and definitely gave the impression of being reheated in toaster.nnVegan Kit Kat and our coffees were delicious

Their chai is pretty good. Love their outdoors seating and they have interesting offerings. Good place to meet people and clean.
