Where to begin? Dealing with this water company is a joke. I called in May of 2020 to inform them there was a leak at our meter. I was told a work order was being put in.This was our lake place, and we were usually only there in the summer. Fast forward to SEPTEMBER. We had the place up for sale, and hadn’t stayed there all summer. Our real estate agent turns on the water for the new buyer, who was in from out of state, and it had NEVER been fixed. Water is still leaking everywhere. I was given the number to their service man because I needed it done immediately, and he hung up on me! They did fix it, but my next water bill was three times the normal amount. Because they were trying to charge me for the water that leaked out, from a problem they never fixed! We sold our place in October 7, 2020. I was told they prefer doing transfers, and they sent me paperwork to give the new buyer at closing. I did. It is December 22, AND I AM STILL GETTING A BILL! I call every month, to remind them that I no longer own the property. I get the same response of, “oh, we never got the paperwork from the new owner, so I guess we need to put a lock on the meter.” Yes, you do! And you need to quit sending the water bill of the new tenant, to someone who doesn’t even own the property! Absolutely ridiculous!
Cant get anyone to answer a phone
For years and they have yet to get the water bill straightened out
Lets see...water off now with no inclination ad to when service is to be restored. Sub par water conditions. Fined by the EPA $75k and STILL no notice by any means. Learned of it on TV.water hasent been drinkable for maybe 5 months. Despicable!!
