Avamere Olympic Rehabilitation of Sequim

I have 25 years of experience in elder care. I relocated to Sequim almost 5 years ago and was so pleased to find such an outstanding organization. The team here does a great job caring for its patients and preparing them to return home. Great rehab program as well.

Update: During this unfortunate Covid outbreak, this staff has gone the extra mile to make sure my Dads physical, mental health and happiness is a priority. My Dad loves it there and thinks he's one lucky guy. This ultimately has relieved a ton of stress on me that comes with an aging parent. Avamere is a blessing for us.nnIput my Dad there a few months ago and I am absolutely so happy that I chose this facility. Their Nurses are the best. I can't imagine better treatment for him. Avamere helped me every step of the way getting him here and have provided continued support. The whole staff treats him with compassion and respect. One nurse said they love their residents...and it shows.

When I came in the staff were all warm and friendly. The building was clean and nice. I would recommend this place to anyone needing excellent care for their loved one!

I was very lucky to get into Avamere after sustaining an injury requiring extensive rehabilitation. Terrific, friendly, caring and knowledgeable staff. I was very impressed with the physical therapy department as I completely relied on them to get me back on my feet. After my release, I chose to continue with Avamere's physical therapy to maintain continuity of care going forward. As a person injured in an accident and able minded, I had the opportunity to interact with memory care and other older patients and watch the staff care for them. It was a beautiful experience. The staff here are very experienced and, most importantly, want to be here. There is great love and humor. Should my parent require institutional elder care, Avamere would be my first choice in this geographical area. Thank you, Avamere!

Stellar staff at every level, wonderful treatment team, just lovely people. Physical therapy is key in recovery, and patients are more motivated when the therapists are not only clinically top-notch but friendly, personable, and fun to spend time with. The room was comfortable and clean. I'm a former landscaper and also appreciated the unusually nice landscaping with hummingbird-attracting shrubs on every side, wheelchair-accessible courtyard garden, views of all kinds of birds out the window (hummingbirds, goldfinches, sparrows, many quail-- and even a visit from a peregrine falcon!)
