Grand Lake (all locations) need improvement in all areas. The key to getting the right help at any of their locations is having medical insurance, if you do happen to have health insurance, you will receive the proper treatment if not, then all they will do for you is counseling. Kay county should have better options than this place. This place is a joke if you don’t have insurance, come on, they should know the difference when a patient needs medical attention and of just talking. Shame on them, unfortunately Kay county doesn’t have options for the un insured so they have to deal with bad service. Sometimes patients dont get the proper treatment for these same reasons and they either end up in jail or in a mental institution. Someone in the state should monitor this place, they don’t help people equally, you have insurance, you are in luck, you don’t have insurance, you are in for a bad ride. I heard they got the state grant to help the needy, well, hear me out, this place is not worth it.

Sad to say, wish Kay County had better options for Mental Health than GLMHC. Soon, lower income patients will have better options than what this place has to offer for patients without insurance. I know i am not the only one to say awful things about this place but its nothing but the truth. Its the people who run the business who are to blame. The employees only do what they are told to do, but if they have the Grant to help the needy in this county , they should do so. I could go on and on saying why this place needs improvement. Looking forward to attending another place nearby soon, this will be a nightmare to remember is all i can say. Dont ask me to contact customer service cause i know i am not going to go anywhere lol. I have talked to other who dont have insurance and are on the same boat as my family members who been to this place, its pretty sad, when there is no good choices to go to in this area without health insurance. THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL JOKE

I personally couldn't say stay away from GLMHC enough. Grand Lake hired a childrens counselor, Kyrie Crippen, who has narrowly avoided being reprimanded by the board for HIPAA violations. Kyrie has made it a habit to discuss patients, their diagnosis, and anything involving them with people not privileged to such information (friends, family, boyfriends, etc). Kyrie personally posted my private health information all over Facebook and has no qualms about doing so. She went out of her way to date my ex (yes, this woman dated a clients ex). I seriously could not imagine dating a clients exboyfriend but she did. She posted publicly my diagnosis, my addictions, and other very private information. Kyrie has used family members to gain access to information she did not have the right to as she is no longer my provider..
