This was my first time eating here. I ordered the catfish and okra..The okra and catfish were nice and crispy, absolutely delicious! I think I just found my go to place for comfort food!
It’s was GREAT! They served complementary rolls that were heavenly. The fish and shrimp plate was fresh and seasoned just right! We will definitely be back soon!
I had ordered cheese sticks they were very burnt. It took a while to get them. The waitress never came back to check on us. I ordered the chicken fried steak. I did not like it at all. the garlic bread you could tell was frozen. Might give it another try someday but wasn't to our liking. And was pretty expensive.
I always enjoy Sam's Southern Eatery. Their food is always delicious and the fried catfish is always piping hot. The cornmeal coating is crispy and the fish is juicy and tender.
