I don't understand the bad reviews for these good folks and neighbors. They have always been freindly and helpful. The monthly rates are very economical. Great people!

It seems like every 2 years they are digging up my property. This weekend I went to mow my lawn and down in the culvert next to my driveway it was like a swamp. 3 years ago they had a leak under the road same spot. Now I have to call them again. They will come out and did up my property and leave a giant mess for me to deal with.nMaybe they should stop using low grade pipe!

In reading the information posted by many people, I was surprised. I had a leak that appeared it was coming from my meter area in my yard. A very nice guy came out quickly and told me it was my sprinkler connection and the water company is not responsible and I needed to call my sprinkler company to fix it. We shut off the water to my sprinklers until the company would come and fix it. He was great and a terrific help. When I called for help, the lady there was just as wonderful.

So they can charge $100 for a reconnect, which I've fortunately never had to do, but I have to go through a busted pipe line with no water every other week or once a month? How about an inconvenience fee from my end due to no notice? Try to do dishes? No water. Laundry? No water. Need a drink? Better go to the store. But somehow they keep raising rates every year and the service gets poorer. How many lines do they have to repair before we can go several weeks without having a no water incident?!

I have been with them for 11 years in one house, always see the negative reviews and never know what to think. We were charged $860+ for water bill one month when saving money to fix a leaky tub behind-wall plumbing. Previous months bills were $300+ and $500+ then the $860 one, I have talked to friends with other utility companies that day their bill is capped, $350 on one example, to prevent overcharge for leaks/accidents. Not RWD, they want every penny for the natural aquifer they are sucking out! On top of that, did anyone else get a letter a few years ago that was required by OK DEQ stating RWD water has higher than accepted levels of radiation? We pay and put up with this place for contaminated water... After 11 years we have moved and are on well water now. If you are just starting with RWD1, save yourself a lot of money and hassle dealing with these crooks and pay to have a well built and installed! I'm writing this review on intersection in oil play near Orla, TX that is only place with wireless signal, waiting for their office to open after lunch, so I can have their stupid water membership paper reprinted for the folks that bought my house to be allowed to transfer water services!!? Buy a well and run from these crooks, they expect a piece of paper to last 11 years in a drawer for utility transfer.
