As I write this, I've emailed the escrow agents 3 times with no response. So I'd have to agree with the poor communications reviews. The better reviews are all lazily done so I wonder how their communications went. I finally called and got my questions answered but was told they don't really start doing anything until the week before the planned closing. I am remote and will be receiving an overnight with papers I need to sign. I wrote to them on a Friday to ask that they send the papers a full 10 days ahead of closing and so far, again, no communication. Evidently even in a world where we have all sorts of ways to communicate effectively this company is only using 1880s technology, the phone. I used this company about 4 years ago for a couple of closings and do not remember this poor communications.

I am now in the process of closing a house with sister who is currently living in San Diego. I drove over to sign and give cashiers check. Of course with the COVID they were having papers signed out in your car or to sit at dirty picnic table outside door. After signing and handing over cashiers check, the paperwork was supposed to be overnighted to sister’s notary. They did not get out by the 3:30 deadline, even thought I was done signing by 3. Then they sent to sister instead of notary. Now 5 days later I get a call from my realtor as Clallum Title called her looking for cashiers check!nI would not recommend this company. They are very unorganized and had me sign with no guidance except notes as to where to sign.nThey should not be paid for their service like this.

Poor communication, rude staff

We have used Clallam title on two property purchases, they are always very professional and have everything prepared when they say they will.
