Awesome
This is a pretty COE camp ground! plenty of shaded sites and easy to access shore line. If you are a fisherman then you will really enjoy this lake!nWe camped in the Pat Mays West campground on the north side of the lake, just beautiful! The Sanders Cove campground seemed to be a bit more crowded and had no waterside sites.
Love Pat Mayes, it have been my place peaceful place since I was small. I go there regularly to visit with God and think and find and answers to my problems it has never failed. God is there and he paints the sky every night and morning.
Parks àre open and clean. Folks are friendly. Volunteers are working hard to maintain and make improvements.
The trail we took was shaded most of the way. It was hot but the wild life we saw and the fun with family was priceless.
