Located mostly along Farm Rd's 197 & 1499 & Co Rd 35650 in northern Lamar County.nAccording to tpwd.texas.gov, Pat Mayse State Wildlife Management Area's managed for upland game & whitetail deer. Other game found on the land include fox squirrel, gray squirrel, bobwhite quail, mourning dove, cottontail rabbit, raccoon, fox,ud83eudd5a& rumored to be large Leucrotta. As always it is a good place go either for the day or weekend....just a little partial to this lake and the camping.....is clean and well managed.....go and enjoy....
