!!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!!nnOkay, we saw a car listed on fb marketplace. We’re from Fayetteville, and this was 2 hours away but the deal was worth the drive.nnWhen we got there, we saw the car, test drove it, everything was fine. Transaction went smooth and he said he would send us the plates because we were two hours away.nnThe next morning, we got “check hybrid systems” on the dashboard. We took it to a Toyota dealership only to learn about a month prior it was diagnosed as needing a new hybrid battery, which the Toyota dealership charges $4800 for. We were not made aware of this, and called smiths auto to ask them about it. They said they didn’t know, which is also alarming because that shows me they don’t check their vehicles before selling them off. He said he would pay for half and apologized and said he’d get back to me when he found a replacement battery.nnAnd that’s where the problem began. I called for the next several days and was ignored. No call back, no response. So I honestly let that idea go. I knew he wasn’t really going to pay for half. But I was still waiting on my plates he said he would send out. They never came. I waited a while and called and they actually answered because they probably forgot about me. I asked them about my plates and they said “oh you want them sent to you? We have them.” I said yes and as I was about to ask if they had my current address they just hung up on me. So I wait another week. Nothing. I called back, and they said “oh yeah you should be getting those real soon”. Nothing a week later. So I had to go to the dmv and pay for replacement tags because they’re holding mine hostage it’s been about a month and a half.nnThese people are SO unprofessional, so grimy. It’s sad because I was going to rave to them to everyone I know here but they missed every opportunity to make things right. They want to sell their vehicles make some cash and screw the customer if necessary. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this company.nnI will say other than the battery issue we love the car but I believe we got lucky compared to some other customers.nnGo give your money to a business who prides themselves in customer service because these people DO NOT.

Not happy at all. I bought A car everything worked fine when I test drove no lights nothing and the next day it starts to smoke and the check engine light is on. I took It to a dealership and they showed me what all needed to be fixed so since i just Bought the vehicle i brought that info up to mark he refused to do anything about it they are very rude out of pocket i paid 400 dollars extra to get it fixed

Called today, tried to be polite but was hung up on by whoever picked up. Definitely not getting a vehicle from them
