I have walked by this place for years and never given it a second glance. My husband brought me here for a surprise date night and it was absolutely perfect. I do know a little bit about food having worked in the field for longer than I care to admit. Finally, FINALLY found a place in Wilmington where the food has integrity and isn't just meant for tourists. The food is honest, you can taste each ingredient. I had the lamb, almost brought a tear to my eye how extraordinary it was. My husband had the duck confit,, of course we cleaned our plates in the manner you’d want to when paying upwards of $30 for an entree. Beautiful beautiful meal. Mussels were outstanding and each dish gave us generous portions. Dessert, equally perfect. Great atmosphere. I feel so lucky to have found this place. Woke up this morning and somehow can still smell the sauce from the lamb on my hands and I smile. Finally a meal during a night out that was a true experience to be remembered. I can’t remember having a better meal anywhere, I loved it.

I wish we'd had dinner here but came for post dinner drinks and dessert. It's a small nice and cozy place with two levels. The bartender was great and friendly. Cocktails are very well done. Had a cream puff plate and coffee ice cream.

Caprice Bistro doesn’t disappoint. Food is great, drinks are great, and service is always attentive. We’ve gone a number of times over the last several years and have never left disappointed.Nice wine list with lots of reasonable choices. Highly recommend if you’re looking for fine dining in Wilmington.

Wilmington was the last stop on our East Coast southern tour (Charleston & Surfside Beach). We like Wilmington because of the River Walk and large number of good restaurants on/near the River Walk. Service was great and we were seated ion the second floor by the front windows. Overall a great meal and we shall return.

The food was incredible. It was the best food we’ve ever eaten. That good. We had the Waterzooi and the flounder special. Service was great. The reviews on this place are legit.
