The Fortunate Glass

Our sunny afternoon here was so wonderful. We brought my mom here for an apertivo before dinner and had drinks and a cheese and meat board. DELICIOUS. Wonderful staff (I think the owner likes our pup the most), amazing selections.

The ambiance, food, wine and staff was superb at The Fortunate Glass. The selection of wine was world class and Jordan's knowledge of the different varietals and wine regions was exceptional. I would highly recommend visiting The Fortunate Glass.

Great place only to be ruined by terrible service. We ordered wine and an extra large charcuterie board assuming we'd be there for a while and ordering several more glasses. After receiving these, the waiter never returned but instead stood at the bar bragging to several guests how he received his first negative review online after working there for years... He was swearing loudly and making fun of this previous customer. We waited and waited and waited for him to return, but he was too busy laughing and being vulgar with 2 other customers we can only assume were buddies of his. There were about 4 other groups of customers that were also forgotten about while he hung out.nnWe eventually decided we wanted to spend our evening elsewhere and had to go to the bar after failing to get his attention to get our bill. After asking for the bill the waiter was quite rude and short and seemed quite angry with us.nnAfter reading other poor reviews of seemingly the same employee, I hope this venue re-evaluates his position. What a poor attitude and no lack of respect for the customers.
