Appalachian Physical Therapy has provided me with excellent care on both of the occasions I’ve needed treatment. My first experience involved an issue with my right shoulder. Jon quickly located the locked muscle, and began working on it using a combination of direct pressure to the area, exercise and stretching, and dry needling to free it up.nnMy second experience at Appalachian Physical Therapy involved trouble with my hip/lower back. I worked with Jon and Brice this time. Similar techniques were used, with similar positive results achieved.nnWith the results being as good as they are, the staff being so friendly, and the overall atmosphere being so upbeat, I would happily recommend them to anyone needing treatment. It is an amazing place!

Johnathan is amazing! I started PT with him because of severe vertigo. I could not walk without a cane and could not drive. He has worked with me over the weeks and I am finally so much better. He is patient, kind and knowledgeable. Hats off to Appalachian Physical Therapy and their staff.

WONDERFUL! All I can say. The staff is warm and welcoming and fully dedicated to getting you back to your normal self. I’m glad to be finished but will miss the staff. I would recommend APT to any of my friends and family!

I am receiving physical therapy from Karen Backall at Appalachian PT. When one is in treatment for pain, it's all about the results. After one month, I already feel so much better! Karen asks a lot of questions and really listens to my answers. She is excellent at diagnosing and then designing exercises to correct and strengthen problem areas. She is a great coach and motivator; I enjoy the therapy sessions and am so pleased with progress I've made!
