My Search For A Mechanic I Can Trust Continues...nI admit I don’t know about the mechanics of a car, so I am intimidated by needing a repair outside of a dealership warranty because I could easily be ripped off. I tested these waters again this week on my BMW, so I needed a foreign car mechanic. I did the responsible research by calling around to get 3 “out the door cost the brake repair I needed including all parts, fees, fluid flush, taxes, labor, etc”...nI chose KEN BAKER’S Euro.Pro. And, I should of known something was up when the front desk guy hit me with the comment, “I don’t know if I included” the flush in the quote. I didn’t have my notes with me and I trusted them, so I Okayed the work. I didn’t have time to check my notes that day but did the next morning before getting the car. I brought up the mistake, but they quickly said I signed off on it before the work started.nDarn, I fell for a bait and switch!nThe extra charge they hit me with was around 90$. But, that’s a small loss for the information I got.nnThere was one guy I should of went with, but he couldn’t give me an exact quote on phone, but he sounded like he cared about what he did and my future business, Avery’s Automotive. He returned my call even though he was on a family Christmas vacation.nI’m sure Ken Baker is has good mechanics, but I can’t stand feeling like I got ripped off when I pay for a service. Especially a local business.nMy American cars are worked on by Karl’s automotive repair. You bring a car there and they fix it without the games.nnUpdate to owner;nLike I said, I didn’t have my notes. My quote was done over the phone. They left my hood open in the back lot unattended and clay dirt on the driver's side of my car when I came to pick it up...otherwise, it's fine, I guess ...

I had an awesome experience with euro pro, very professional, and quality service. They even washed my car afterwards.

I was originally worried about finding a great European mechanic after moving to Wilmington, but Euro Pro has been amazing. I’ve had my Mini in there 2-3 times and the service, turnaround time, and honestly has been excellent. Great business!
